Nothing important to say but...

I am making monkey bread for the department tomorrow morning, but I don't think I have a bunt pan.... which is a problem! My department moved downstairs recently here at work, and tomorrow is our first food day with the new group... They don't seem to know the actual meaning of a food day, everyone has signed up for kiddie snacks, no actual dishes ( Read more... )

food, work

The only scarey part was that half of the people who had it never knew what it was! can you believe it? There are actually people who don't know what that is :P It was soooooo good :) got a couple of people to bend their diets for a 15 minutes to eat it :D woohoo :P

I'm going to make some tonight! I got my personal trainer to give me until Saturday to start our new "lifetime adjustment eating ideals". LOL

yeah... see food is my downfall :P it is the tasting part, not so much the eating part... but yeah... doesn't help that I have to cook for 1 when I do... because then I have leftovers, and the only way past those leftovers is to eat them all, which tends to mean eating way too much :P I would make a good housewife :P Just no kids or females would be allowed :P

reading on... "Emotional Addictions" is a very interesiting and real and interesting subject that leads to many other addictions, but your take on the 'past' is very intriguing. If it weren't so late and I hadn't a nasty bump on my head from last eve's car rollover off the freeway into the ditch, i'd have more thoughts. Yay for you on writing a book.. I'm working on two.. maybe when I have a layover in MSN we can grab dinner and chat about the books .. and the reality matrix!

The past.... spidermoon77 February 15 2007, 15:36:22 UTC
My thoughts on the past is that we are simply constructs of our society, those who impose their will on others, being that humans tend to be creatures of habit, we find it easy to just go with the flow, let others take the responsibilites of life over for us :) Morals are completely a social construct. Sometimes in my wanderings through thoughts I come across little flecks of dirt that society planted that created the whole snowflakes that we call our morals ;) They can be very beautiful things, but increasingly fragile in the presence of an open mind...

But yeah :) lol this is one of those subjects I can babble on about :D

Your 'babble' is quite elegant, actually. You have a gift for prose that falls delicately, yet profoundly, on attuned ears.

I like to babble in my writing :) if I were as silver tongued as I am in my writing I would be dangerous :P I could take over the world! but no, I missed the lecture on small talk when going through human life prep :) but that is alright :) I don't really want to take over the world :) I am a true believer in people needing to find their own place in this lifetime :) being handed a script to live your life by seems a little.... sheep like :P
