Dude! Math is easy! It's literature that's hard! Although I did eventually get the hang of it. Poetry, though? Anything deeper than a limerick is beyond me. I have trouble parsing haikus. I read some article about one of Sylvia Plath's poems and couldn't figure out what it was trying to say.

I fangirl your math brain. :) Literature is easy and so is most poetry if you forget everything you learned in school and quit trying to analyze it. School sucks all the fun out of it. For math, you have to remember everything you learned in school.

Do you remember anything about which poem the Plath article was about? I, like every teenage girl who's a talented writer and extremely depressed, went through an intense Plath phase. :)
