Ugh

My reproductive system is torturing me cruelly. Last night I had a crying jag that kept me up until almost 3 in the morning. I woke up doubled over in cramps, and then I found myself craving donuts of all things! I never eat donuts! But anyway, off I went to Dunkin' Donuts for a couple of chocolate frosted, but when I got them home and bit into ( Read more... )

Ugh, that's nearly what I'm going through. I've been crying at the drop of a hat the past few days, and today I woke up bleeding and with a fever, and my cramps were so bad they were making my back ache as if I'd been stabbed. I walked out of my room and my mom said, "Jesus you look terrible. You started finally, didn't you? Here, you need a Lortab." I hardly had a chance to say anything.

Now I'm starving but I don't want to eat because I'm afraid I'll throw up. This time of the month crap sucks ass.

I usually don't puke, but then again, I usually don't eat donuts! Man, those things are tooth-cringingly sweet!

Oh man, I remember those times. I used to have a cycle that was extremely unpredictable; the only two things I could count on were that I'd bleed for seven - count 'em, seven - days, and that my cramps would make me a miserable bitch for at least three of them. How long between bleeding stints, however, was anyone's guess. It could be 20 days, it could be 28 days, it could be 14 days. Being on the other side of all that is Very Good.

All of which is to say that I both empathize and sympathize. It's crap, and I hope it ends soon for you.

Thank you! I'm pretty regular when it comes to timing, but some months just *slay* me, and this seems to be one of them. Sigh.
