It's finally here! Are you as psyched for this ep as I am? When it comes to pre-episode thinky thoughts, I think I've already said everything important in the last few weeks, including SQUEE! OMG! NOOOOOOO! and YESSSSS! As for disclaimers, if you don't already know by now, it's too late.
(
Let's just get to it! )

Overall, I think RTD is good at single parts, not so good at two-parters. Bring on teh Moff.

Thanks for reading and commenting, though. :)

Jackie has a husband and son in the parallel world so she'd be going back anyway. If Rose stayed in this world, she'd only want to come with the Doctor again, and after what Davros said about the Doctor turning people into weapons, my guess is that he wanted to keep Rose safe. Plus, she's lived in the parallel world for at least 2 years (more maybe since they move faster than us), so maybe he figured that she'd actually have made a life for herself there. (instead of pining away for him). Doctor 10a was really a consolation prize for her.
Personally I don't care why he did it, just so long as this time it takes because I really don't want Rose back again ever.
I'm still pissed that she gets her home and family and a new boyfriend, and Donna gets...nothing. Words cannot express how furious I am that the best Companion the Doctor has ever had (IMO), or rather, the one that was best for him gets reset back to the person she was ( ... )

The good thing about Mickey and Martha being on Torchwood is that I'll still be watching it now, even without Owen and Tosh. But. Still. Sigh.

Anything that makes you watch Torchwood is fine with me! HUGS.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mickey on TW - so long as TPTB don't have him falling for Gwen like most of the other male characters - but I'm less enthused about Martha.
(actually I think one of the problems I had with Martha on TW was the 'I'm UNIT and outrank you' attitude she seemed to have going on)

What little of the German I could understand was (in the case of the Daleks) literally translated. The woman at the castle said something about Martha needing to be quiet, but I didn't understand much after that. My German has deteriorated.
