It's not that hard. Hook it up like you are going to add something to it, in iTunes. Where you can see the tracks on the iPod, itself, just right-click on it and choose Delete.
Yup, what she says. If you hate it, despise it, never want to add it back also delete it from the iTunes library on your hard drive. If you have your iTunes set to auto update your iPod when you plug it in I think you'd have to do that anyway (I only do manual updates so I don't know)
