Torchwood Smut: "Time Between Friends"

I just saw the last two episodes of Torchwood Series/Season 1 ("Captain Jack Harkness" and "End of Days"). I'll be posting my reactions to those episodes shortly, but in the meantime, here's my latest piece of smut. I wanted to get this posted before last night, but hey, life happens. :D

Point 1: My love for this fic series knows no bounds. See previous comment on "A Creature of Habit" for more information on why this is probably my favourite fic series in the fandom ;) Oh, and humiliation's a fun, fun thing in D/s, as is a mild touch of well-meant cruelty. *is a sick bastard*

Point 2: Jack's comment about sonic autoclaves is LOVE.

Point 3: It's something rare to see, but just to add a bit to my smut fixation, I adore the power play/power shift and sub mentality. Just wanted to say that. You write it wonderfully.

Point 4: The part with Gwen was touching -- you've got the voices of all three down pat, and it leads to in interesting and believable scene of sweetness.

Point 5: Jack's comment towards the end + Ianto's reaction = LOVE.

Thank you very much! I always look forward to your comments. As much as I gleefully appreciate the incoherent "guh"s and "thuds" -- and I absolutely do, they really give me ego boosts -- my favorite kind of comment is a coherent one, because those are the ones that really let me know if people are getting it, and what's working. I even like to know what isn't working, although frankly I get enough concrit from my betas and I'm pretty confident in my writing ability (she said immodestly).

Oh, you like the comments -- yay! I always worry I'm being a touch too long-winded (conciseness is always a problem), which is why my comments to fics are rare-ish, take a while to write, and often have massive parts left on the cutting room floor. See, I double as an occasional (tone/voice, comprehension, and grammar) beta-reader, the kind that doles out compliments as well as grammatical fixes, both with extensive reasoning/suggestions tagged on. There's so much I could say about your writing, it's very good -- but I tried to keep it down to a few points of ultra-brilliance and general fun!things I noticed

Yeah, I was trying like hell to get this fic up before the last two eps aired, but it didn't happen, so whatever. So that's why in the author's notes I did the big bold This is an AU. I love Torchwood and I was pleased as all hell with the ending of this season, but I'm going to keep writing my stories straight from my own twisted imagination.
