Jake was technically doing his homework in the living room. He was trying to focus, which wasn't easy to do as the tv was playing in the background and he was involved in a game on the computer. But coooooome on, he couldn't let his team down, now could he?
Ah-hah, and there was the man of the hour now. May clung to the window and knocked, hoping it was loud enough to tear his attention away from killing Zombies.
May shook her hand, glaring at the bruised knuckles as if it were their fault that the glass (at least, it LOOKED like glass, but it probably wasn't) was really hard.
And of course, Jake would be one of those who didn't have super-hearing as part of the package.
Still clinging to the side of the building, May considered the delemma facing her. She could try calling the Fantastic Five hotline, but those calls were screened and the caller IDs were always checked. She could try knocking more, but that seemed like an exersize in futility.
A glint of fire reflecting off the window behind May caught her attention, and she turned in time to watch Torus Storm streaking overhead like a tiny comet.
