i'm afraid the day of the launch of the LHC was claimed as the "party like the world is ending" party.But yes, I certainly think that'd be an awesome theme.
It's brought me ceaseless amusement over the years that 20 12 is part of my own birth date...

Hmm... I'll have to have a differently worded theme then.
Possibly something about sacrificing to ensure that the sun rises another day.
