I've had some time to organize my thoughts now, and I wanted to write this post up to explain why I'm so broken up over the death of Adam Yauch (aka MCA of The Beastie Boys

I've never listened to The Beastie Boys, so of course I didn't know all of this. It sounds like he was a really amazing guy, and it's sad that the world has lost someone so awesome. We need more people like this guy.

He was amazing, I'm hoping that his death brings that to light for people who weren't familiar with The Beastie Boys before.

If you're interested, start with "No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn":

And work your way up to the classic of classics, "Fight for Your Right (to Party)":
