1: Classical and opera are definitely my favorites, but as far as bands/artists go, Courtney Love and Hole have had a huge influence on me. I know she's generally public enemy number one, but I just love her. She made me feel better about being an "angry girl" as a teenager, who still didn't really identify with the vegan-feminist group of girls at my school. Her music is amazing, I can listen to Hole's Live Through This album over and over. I of course love Josh Groban, Bloc Party, Ani Difranco, Regina Spektor, Miri Ben-Ari, LOTS of world music. Especially Russian and German rap.

2: First of all, yay for gaining confidence! I can relate to trust issues, definitely. I think part of becoming a confident person, as cliche as this is, is accepting that you deserve to have friends/roommates who really like you and want to hang out with you, guys who want to be with you. You deserve people who like you for yourself, basically. It's been said before, but it's true.

I've never been much of a gamer, but I do like Resident Evil. Leon is

1: I am, but I'm graduating in four months with a degree in literature. My ideal job would be a paramedic, with a partner I love and hours that suit me - I'm actually more of a morning person than anything else. I don't see myself ever becoming the next Joshua Bell as far as music goes, but I definitely wouldn't be opposed to teaching classes to pay the bills while I get my EMT certification. Almost there! Maybe I'll play in a little local string quartet or something someday.

2: I hope you're doing okay! I love hospitals, myself - I'm weird, I know. It's not anything serious, is it?
