Okay, I know everyone will assume I am hopping on a band wagon here, but that's far from the case. Alan Johnston, the BBC reporter for Gaza, was first kidnapped six weeks ago - shortly before the 15 sailors were taken by Iran - and I have been following this ever since as it strikes a chord with me that a journalist should be taken. Apparently new evidence came last week that he is still alive. Gilad Shalit (the Israeli soldier) who was kidnapped last June is still alive so it's not impossible that Alan is still with us too - it serves no purpose for his kidnappers to kill him unless people knew about it, which we don't. Fingers crossed for him still.
