Watched Gintama Shinyaku Benizakura Hen Movie and maaaan, it made me fall in love with the series all over again. The Benizakura arc is just so good a snapshot of everything Gintama is - action, crack, character driven. And all my favorite voice actors ( Read more... )

wait, Kamui was in the Benizakura arc?!

but hnnng Gintama is just ♥ so so so amazing. Though I really wish they went through with what they showed on the teaser trailer hahaha and did the story of the war and their past for the movie *A* hnng that trailer was so well-done.

Kamui was a part of the Harusame. It showed him and Abuto lurking about when the Kihetai went to pick up some back up. He didn't show up in the original arc. But now, they gave him a couple lines just as sorta a look behind the scenes. XDD But the creepy, bloodlust face!Kamui made me squee regardless.

Yeeeah, the trailer looked awesome. I was vaguely disappointed that they didn't go that route. But, the movie was just too good to dislike.

Ooooh yes 8) I just finally got to the arc in the actual series where he appears, so it does make sense that they might show him lurking around~ fufufu omg so awesome.

I've been wanting to see that movie so badly, but I think I'll hold off until a subbed version is released. Glad to hear that it wasn't disappointing. I didn't think it would be, but having someone affirm it is even better.

Oh yes! Kamui~ Gintama has some great crazies. I can't wait to see more of him. What I'd really like to see is more of him and Kagura interacting in ways other than fighting (or at least have some conversation during a fight).

Cool! You ordered Clover for the PSP! I'm guessing that you got the deluxe version. Will you be getting the shop tokuten or the maker tokuten with it? Either way that's a great birthday present.

I'm sorta surprised that nobody has subbed it yet. But then, I think people were mostly yoinking the subs from crunchyroll and they don't have it up either so... yeah...

((Though, watching the movie raw did make me giggle over the Gintama -> Kuni factor. So many of the same seiyuu~))

Yes, you read my mind. We get little glimpses of Kagura and Kamui's past but I'd really love a current smackdown with the two. We'd be bound to get some monologuing at the very least if not actual conversation! Kamui's such a fun crazy. It'd be nice to see more of him. (Even if it's just more crack filled 3-Z action~)

It's going to be interesting going from PC to PSP, but I figure it should be too bad. (Even though Alice doesn't have a voice to help for comprehension...) Er, I'm just getting whichever it is that YesAsia is giving. Seemed the easiest route. ^.^0
