The game itself wasn't too long. I think it took me maybe 11-12ish hours for my first run? And most of it was because I kept on stopping to look up Meiji landmarks and other stuff. Otherwise, it was about 7-8 hours per route once you get down to it.

It helped that the game was way more awesome than I was expecting. I only bought it initially because I liked the drama CDs and the Meiji/'girl from another world' bit. (Now I wish I had thought to preorder earlier so I could have got the bonuses. XD)

GAH, 11-12 hours, LOL
I was expecting about... 8 for the first run, xD
Yeah, I was actually doubting Brocolli's otome games cuz, yknow, Uta-Puri was kinda... meh....
Seeing your review made me sigh in relief :) Seemss good for me, hehe. The drawings are a bit amatuer but if it's a game based from Meiji/Taisho era, I'm in! :D

Hn, content wise on UtaPri I'd agree that it's fairly low key. (Until Cecil's cracky route of WTF crackiness that destroys all previous worldbuilding.) But the DDR gameplay is something I have a soft spot for so that smoothed some of the meh for me.

But no, Brocolli is just Uncle Moneybucks on this one. (Someone had to pay for the port to PSP. XD) MTR did the drama cd / mobile thing first.
