Well, I pre-ordered Black Wolve's Saga, but that will probably be the last otome game I'll be able to get until after my upcoming convention. Golden Week is just around the corner in Japan too, so the game won't be mailed out until May 8th.

I'm looking forward to playing a much darker otome game. Mejojo and Auger remind me of my cat. Like that moment I stare at him torturing a mouse and think, "I'm so glad I'm bigger than the cat."

Awesome! I'd love to hear your impression once you get it. xD

Geh, forgot about Golden Week. Hopefully the delay isn't too long... (Sorta kills the effect of pre-ordering when there's a big shipping delay anyway. =.=0)

I have to admit, the darkness + cat/rabbit/mouse and other such variations rather than just the usual wolf human mashup is part of why I really want to play it. (That, and the voice cast is impressive~) *crossing fingers for much predator/prey otome goodness*

I'm sure I'll have something to say about it once I start playing.

Yeah, more than one otome game was released right before Golden Week. I don't get why they even bothered to release any games this week. Anyone who pre-ordered a game has to wait anyway. You could only get a new release faster by buying one straight from a store this week, but then you don't get any tokuten.

I'm hoping Akira's rabbit character has some weird side to his personality. It's fun listening to Akira acting crazy. And I agree with you about the wolf human thing. It's getting pretty old. I blame all of it on the popularity of the werewolves and vampires(especially Twilight). Although since Black Wolves Saga has other animals, I don't think I'll mind the wolf people so much. They look interesting so far.

Well, I got a message from YesAsia saying After Winter has shipped, so hopefully that means I lucked out and squeaked by before Golden Week had a chance to kick in. It does seem sort of odd as a release time... Though, I suppose, if you think of it like Christmas. Release just before a holiday, and, if you were in Japan you could pre-order and have it delivered to the store. *shrugs* Dunno if it works the same as it does over here.

Crazy Akira bunny time? Heck ya! That's exactly what I'm hoping for. He's just so good at voicing evil!! XDD

The character designs do look pretty interesting. Less 'werewolve-y' at least. Sorta hope that holds true. (...Though, I wouldn't be entirely against them having ridiculously cute animal forms.)

I am curious about BWS too, I did preorder it but I'm currently playing a happier game (atelier elkrone). XD

A lot of people are talking about BWS though, and apparently it does have a lot of abuse. I listened to the preorder drama track someone posted on tumblr and the cats were whipping Fiona. =S Though it seems some characters are nicer than others. It will be interesting from a story perspective, but I'm not sure anymore if I should treat it as a horror otome game or something. XD

Whipping, you say. O.O;; Welp. That'll certainly be an interesting change from the norm. And, I have to admit I'm fond of a wee bit of twistedness in my otome. Ain't nothin' wrong with a Dead End or two along the way~ Now I'm reeeally curious to see more.

Atelier Elkrone? I think I remember seeing that on Otomate's site. Really cutesy, pastoral, character designs? Any good? XD

lol well i heard there really aren't any "good ends", i'm not sure what that means so i guess we'll see XDD if u want to listen to a portion of the track i found it here

yeah elkrone is a funny/cute game about a heroine running an alchemy shop (she is voiced too), its still a visual novel but you mix ingredients to make different items and raise affection of your guy by completing his requests. the game is a collaboration project, i'm usually not that interested in otomate but this one went above my expectations :D

What the- I don't even know where to begin with that. Telling her she's a no good slave and making her say thank you?? (Is it bad sign for my sanity that I found Sakurai to still be irresistibly sexy in that?)

So! And, that would be why it's for PC rather than PSP I presume. No 'good ends'? Does that mean all the good ends are in the psp split so they could make Bloody Nightmare bloodier I wonder?

Ooo, I like it when they're nice and voice the heroine. I mean, really, the people who don't like it can always turn her voice off. And getting to mix stuff sounds sorta like a cute way to break up gameplay, I might have to go look at it some~ (I like a few of Otomate's individual titles, they just seem inconsistent in comparison to other companies where you basically know their art styles, storytelling leanings, etc.)
