Nano update, and Grimm is lame.

Nov 02, 2011 23:41

I met my word count goal for the first two days of nano. I'm at 3,375 words. Tomorrow there is a write in at the library close to my house that I think I'm going to go to. Here's hoping I can keep up the momentum ( Read more... )

Yay on the word count!
I don't work on Friday so I'm considering moving into my local Starbucks for the day.

:-) I'd go to an indie coffe place but my boring town doesn't have any, so Starbucks (and pumpkin spice lattes) will work for me.

Didn't bother to watch Grimm even tho the producers of Buffy put it together. Actually, I thought it was NBC's lame answer to ABC's Once Upon a Time...

I didn't think of that. Either way, I won't be watching. Though I think I'm going to give Once Upon a Time a chance. It seems alright so far.

Not yet. I have it saved in my email so I didn't forget, I just haven't been reading much fanfic lately. I'll get to it this weekend, I promise!

Go you! I hope you have a blast at the write-in. I'm hoping to make one on the weekend. Yesterday was a good NaNo day for me, so I have some cushion today :)

I'm not sure what to think of Grimm but I hate that it's in the same time slot as Supernatural. I'm not sure why any network would want to premier a new show in that time slot, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Happy writing!

I'm not actually going to the write-in. I forgot that today is my Dad's birthday (bad daughter!) so I'm going to have dinner at his house.
I predict that Grimm will not last long. The viewers that might give that show a chance are already watching Supernatural on Friday nights.
Plus, I wasn't impressed by the pilot, similarities to spn aside.

I've not seen Grimm, but the instant they came out with the synopsis I was feeling foul. I mean, shameless rip-off. Not sure why someone would want to copy SPN other than to maybe steal some of the awesome fanbase, since their ratings are good, but not earth-shattering.
Whatever. SPN all the way!

Yeah, too many things were just too close to spn. I think the only shot it had was tapping into the spn fanbase, but since they put it in the same time slot...yeah. Not really smart.
