[PSA] PCOS, infertility and miscarriage

This keeps cropping up in conversation, so I thought it might be helpful to say it here. D and I have been trying for a baby for at least two years and I've since been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. Sympathies. Good luck accessing treatment, if that's what you and D. want.

FWIW, my mother also had polycystic ovaries. I'm one of three children.

Thanks, it's good to know it's not entirely hopeless. It's a shame I can't ask my late mum about her reproductive history.

I now look fondly back at the time when I didn't mind six week cycles or could kill three birds with one stone by taking Dianette for my acne, hair and contraception ;/
