Oh, Byakuya! A friend lately gifted me with the Bleach series of anime, and I've just managed to force my way through the Bountou Arc (although the ending wasn't so bad) and have just run into the Arrancar. There's an awful lot of video-game in the storyline, but characters like Byakuya certainly make up for it. *hearts*

Do you write Bleach fic?

Just started watching it, (I'm somewhere at episode six I think) so regretfully can't say anything about the storyline and don't have any fic ideas yet. But I just have this feeling I will, and don't know if that's good or bad. :) Quite certainly, Byakuya would be worth some ficcage. Brother had shown me the ending of some longer Bleach thing (an OVA maybe?) where the characters are all dressed in clothes different from their usual outfits, and it had Byakuya dressed in Victorian fashion, walking cane, hat and all. I fell off my chair. :D

That is the second OVA alright: Fallen Sword, and the images of the various captains are all beautifully presented in formal attire at some sort of red carpet function, whereas the vice-captains are in casual attire enjoying the nightlife around Tokyo. There is a wonderful scene of Zenpachi in black leather and studs eating sushi with his lieutenant who's dressed up as a maid on the bullet train.

Yes, that's the one! And that scene you mentioned is so cute.^^ I rather enjoyed Ukitake in a suit too. It must be the hair. :P

BTW, thanks for the link you sent! :) I shall take pics of the puppy while he is still cute and fluffy. He will be a mountain when he grows up. :P

Oh, and the boys should so see those vids!!! XD I should so find a way to lure them to watch them and then tell them 'no, those are NOT too girls' and watch the reaction. XD
