She giggled at that thought. Sure, she still felt the pangs of homesickness, but her new family in Quentão had made things so much better. Paris, most especially.
"Don't give your Aunt Shiraz any trouble, okay, sweetie?" she said to Marc as she double-checked her luggage, then moved over to give him a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "Mama will be back soon. I'll bring back something nice for you, so be a good boy."

Paris was so glad that Shiraz had warmed up to the boy so much. He knew Marc would be absolutely spoiled while they were gone. And Cielo was here as well.
"All packed up?" he said.

As it was still a while before dinner, she then quietly excused herself to take a nap. She wasn't exactly tired, but they'd been traveling and shopping, and they were going dancing later in the evening. Dinner she could live without, but she wasn't about to miss out on the dancing.
"Mmmm," she murmured contentedly as she lay down and closed her eyes. A small smile brightened her face as she imagined herself dancing by the shore around a campfire - in Paris' arms.

Paris broke into a smile as she came downstairs. He'd also changed into a loose white shirt that opened wide at the collar, very summery looking and light. It was almost like they'd been in tune, and now matched.
"You'll have every eye on you, do you know that?"
