1) Commencement was fun. The weirdest thing, though, was that when I was heading home afterward, for the first and only time in my whole life, I actually felt nostalgic about my school. Trust my mind to start distorting my memories to make them seem fun the second I'm finally out of there. Came to my senses soon enough, though. :P

♫ ~Nostaaaalgia, the cleverly useful emotion your brain evokes to trick you into thinking the last experience of pain and tears was worth embarking on, thereby giving you the brilliant idea that the next experience of pain and tears will also be a worthwhile pursuit~ ♫

Skimmed past the spoilers liek whoa. That's 2 series I haven't watched (although for Heroes hopefully that will change soon soon soon!), and waiting for 24 to end this season's run then get the dvds. My boy and his brother were grumbling about the same thing, that 24 is losing its mojo and becoming predictable - and I'll all liek nooooo 24 is awesomefish no wai XD

Read on chuunin that the ninja cats are possibly named after Takeuchi Junko's cats, which is rather cute XD I just find it hilarious that after all the neko Sasuke fan art, w/ this chapter we're going to get ... EVEN MORE neko Sasuke fan art XDXDXD Oh Kishi, write more Sasuke plox. Because you're still totally winning in that department and all.

Yes, nostalgia is evil. XD There's a reason it only strikes once the bad stuff is all over and done with. I don't recall feeling this way when my Capstone project was attempting to kill me. ::shakes fist::

Like I said, I hate to bitch about my favorite series, but 24 this season really was a letdown at times, particularly during the second half. Of course, it could be that I was just spoiled silly by season 5, which was unbelievably good. It's still better than 90% of everything else on television, but I just expect more from it. :P

I think I recall reading the same, now that you mentioned it, and that's very cute if so. And it's definitely no coincidence that of all the possible animals, Kishimoto picked cats. It's just that I read a couple posts/comments in various places to the effect of, "WHAT! NINJA CATS! KISHIMOTO IS ON CRACK!", and I'm forced to wonder if these people have even read the rest of the series. XD He was always on crack.

::goes to look for new neko Sasuke fanart:: >_>

That's the problem w/ 24. They just keep raising the bar so high. They might have hit the ceiling XD

Yay fandom, the spiels of retardation are varied and lulz. Kakashi has dogs, Naruto has frogs, and it's not okay for Sasuke to have cats? It's not like it's some way out of the blue and unfitting species like, I dunno, anteaters or something.

I'm thinking Keroyon Jima will be having a field day w/ its fan comics, if it hasn't already done a parody XD

Did you see Sammich's 24 cliff's notes post? ::steals Grrblt's intellectual property:: XD

I don't have to watch the next season of 24, I already know what's going to happen.

hour 1: we've picked up chatter something is going to happen. TODAY! omg. something happens.
hour 2: we need to call in that Bauer dude again.
hour 3: we have leads. send Jack.
hour 4: he killed the dudes and lost the leads. jack arrested for disobeying orders
hour 5: new leads
hour 6: bad guys found out we had leads
hour 7: we have a spy zomg. jack finds out who it is.
hour 8: the spy wasn't doing it on purpose
hour 9: we can use the spy to set up a secret ambush. jack wants to go but isn't allowed
hour 10: jack says "
The absolute truth. XD Still, it's a winning formula ( ... )

Nah, he won't; they'd have killed him right away if so. Plus, pregnant wife plotline still brimming with unused potential and all. <3

Plus, this secretly made me kinda happy because I can finally forgive him for killing future Noah. XD

I rather enjoyed Heroes. I think that its ending was a copout in some ways, but it was still good enough for me.

And I'm really looking forward to Season 2 - especially since they won't be having those breaks, but instead will be having "filler episodes" that will introduce new characters and be unrelated. I think it's actually being termed a spinoff.

Yeah, from what I heard, there's gonna be a six-episode spinoff, with each episode introducing a potential new character. Then the fans will get to vote to decide which character will join the main cast. Should be fun, considering how great their characters have been so far (some of their origin stories could put Lost to shame).

Watching the Heroes marathon made me realize that I should probably go back and re-watch the first season. I'm such a dope, I kept thinking that Sylar was going to end up being another Orochimaru case...and that would be pathetic. On so many levels of wangst.

God I miss Avatar. ; ; My dad and I can't even turn on Nick anymore becuase we know it's not back yet, and that pains us so. he's more of an avatar fan than i am...which is just weird, because he normally hates anything associated with anime or anime-like shows

Ninja Cats pwns anything kishi can dish now. He's been on speed since he came up with the series (hello~? some of the first art he did had everyone on falcolns who wore headgear and saddles; huge ass hint) and he'll remain on speed because of the addiction rule. Once you start, you can never go back. l3

I'm rewatching Heroes with my brother bit by bit--it's really fun, actually. There's a ton of stuff you pick up on the second time that kinda flew overhead during the first round. XD

Heh, my dad's usually the same--he immediately dismisses almost anything that's animated, which sucks because other than that, he's a fan of almost everything I am, and it's fun to chat about it with him. Wish I could get him into something like Avatar. And yeah, the withdrawal's been coming and going for me, but it's back now. Again. I miss it. ;_;

And yeah, Kishimoto is on permanent crack. Which really shouldn't surprise anyone by this point. :P

Your dad's a lot like mine then...he loved Gundam Wing, hated all the other Gundams and despised Cowboy Bebop; even though it basically contains blood, guns, violence, cowboys and spacecraft..which is usually his entire 'Five Favorite Things to Watch' list. He's such a hypocrite ( ... )
