This is completely fucked up.

Forget the gun control issues. Hell, forget the security and all that stuff, even. What I really want to know is, why the hell didn't the school warn anyone until AFTER the second shooting had already taken place?That is beyond ridiculous. 30 people's lives could have been saved if only the school had gone into ( Read more... )

Of course; don't you know playing Grand Theft Auto is responsible for brainwashing all mass-murdering nutjobs? But then, videogames make for good strawmen, I suppose. Better to blame them than anyone who might actually have been responsible!

The whole thing just leaves me at a total loss. I feel so bad for everyone affected by this.

Coincidence? The anniversary of Columbine and Hitler's birthday being on the 20th, and the anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing on the 19th. =/

Not a good time of the year, this.

Anyway, I don't know if it was a coincidence or not--from what I heard, it sounds like the guy had issues for quite some time, and it might have been a fight with an ex that finally put him over the top--but either way, the timing is still pretty disturbing. =/
