Heading to Seattle for a couple weeks on vacation--I'll be back on the 11th. Probably won't have much time to log in over there (I'll be staying at my grandparents' most of the time, and their Internet situation tends to be dial-up at best and none at worst, not to mention I'll be pretty busy anyway), so I won't be around here or NF much until then

Harl is shipping me to Seattle in October. I'm trying to get Mel to come. You could have waited. :@
Well, probably not. But it is delicious indignation. You must eat it.

Au contraire, you could have come earlier! My uncle's getting married for the third time lulz on Sunday, so we have to be there. Plus the weather's gorgeous in August and then goes back to the usual rain and meh the rest of the year. You guuuuuuys. ;_;
Alas cruel fate. XD

I know, we've been talking about what to do with HoU for a long time, but nothing's come out of that yet. You're right, though, that's something that needs to be sorted out soon.
Read any of the books or only seen the movies? If the latter, do the former; if the former, they get better as they go along; and if it's both, well, to each her own, I guess. :P I love them to bits, though. <3

I read the first book and saw the first three movies. It's just not my thing--the whole magic and wizards deal. xD I'm glad all you potter tards are happy with the last book though! ^^ Aside from the fact that it's over. *hugs*

It's annoying, but it and the *$&%!& Server 500 errors are really only a small part of the reason why I'm not at the HoU or KL that much anymore.
Did you see The Colbert Report last Monday? It had a bit about the Harry Potter craze.
During the opening, it showed Stephen with his nose in the latest Harry Potter book. Throughout the various cuts in angles when they run the teasers for the various stories, he just kept his nose in the book. One of the shots panned out over the audience which was also all reading the book. At the end, he looked up and said "Oh, this is the Colbert Report," and then went back to reading. When they introduced the guest, he was also reading the HP book until Stephen interrupted him for the interview.
As for myself and HP, I've read the first and it was ok. I don't really feel like devoting much time to reading "ok" books. I'd rather re-read ASoFaI or try something new. I've seen the first three movies. I'll probably see the rest eventually as friends want to re-watch them or
