So, yeah, we all  know the economy is shit.  Our parent company, Thomson, is French, and they're faring no better than everyone else.  Stocks have taken a nosedive, they're re-organizing every business unit, etc

I wish we all knew where to make comparable money to what we're making now. That's one of the reasons I am still here, though the job may dissappear by the end of the year it is likely not to and even if it did, it's not like there's a whole lot of options out there rigth now.

I'm so sorry :( This reminds me of my friend in Vegas, who recently had her hours cut as well (she's an architect).

I hope, especially with your experience, that if you start looking, the calls will start happening for you - if you decide to move-on from there.
