I'm doing this as a separate entry because I want to make sure it doesn't get lost in the length of the other one. I know you'll read everything, but I really feel this is an important topic.

Law school."Lately, I've been toying with the idea of Law School, something I had planned to do way back when but abandoned back in 1996 when I was a sophomore in college ( ... )

One more thing - read the law_students and pre-law communities here on LJ. Law_students, especially, has tales from people who are in the classes and struggling with appellate briefs as we speak. Their stories can help give a better idea of law school hell, too.

What up, man? Long time no talk. Glad to see things are going well on the personal side of things.

Careers: I hate the rollercoaster. I'm not happy with my job either (and I work in a law firm!) - in fact, I'm miserable with it. If you end up owning a law firm and you need someone to do electronic document processing, I'm your man. ;)

I've got no advice other than listen to your wife and your kid. They're obviously smart people and they'll know what you need, maybe even more than you do.

If worst comes to worst, we can all move to a shore village somewhere around a quiet lake and become a writer community. Not that I ever write anymore....
