This whole scene is drawing me in. Congrats, I'm hooked and it's just the prologue. I love your attention to detail as well.

awww!!! This is so beautiful hun. I love the way that Ryan tries to connect with the boy (I'm going to assume it's Brendon), and then his father rips that part of his life away and replaces it with other people...people that are considered his equals.

I'd love to see how this turns out. I don't usually agree with the whole slaves thing...but fic always makes it so tempting and hot. And this...the fact that they aren't just slaves in the bedroom, but Ryan's family owns people makes it so enticing.

You missed the fyi- it's not Brendon. Brendon will appear later in the first chapter though.

But this boy is the key to the story, so...*shrugs*

Brendon will be named outright.

And yeah, I am *glances around* maybe turned on by Bden in a collar, but, you know, who knows? *whistles innocently*

I was shopping today and passed the rows of collars and my eyes land directly on this everyday, black leather collar and instantly I'm drawn to it. It took a lot to talk myself out of it.
