I believe it's "hear, hear", as in "hear this, hear this". I think. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hear_hear

Thank you. I wondered about that, and should have looked it up, as I did when i wrote the phrase "bated breath" recently and wondered if it was supposed to be "baited breath". I was right that time, at least.
