I'm sure I'm preaching to the converted, here, but in case you didn't know.

You remember that Derren Brown ostensibly got the roulette prediction wrong? Well. The number that came up on the roulette wheel was 30. Earlier in the show, the number 30 appeared, fairly clearly, on the first truck that Ben walked past.

Oh, interesting! I was already fairly convinced that the miss was deliberate, but I hadn't noticed that.

I love that he has apparently left clues to the fact that it wasn't an accident. There is such an air of film-villain delight in his own cleverness about it all.

Yes! I like the way he leaves red herrings, too. For example, the "giraffe" gestures to the girl in Harrods. I can't believe they'd subliminally suggest a giraffe to anyone, but they're great.

I must show you that melting coin trick.

Some context for your American friends? Whatever you're talking about sounds interesting.

Derren Brown is an English magician, who does "mental" magic. He's superb. Do a search for his name on YouTube.

Last Friday was the last in the series. He apparently stole £5000 of someone's money and put it on a roulette wheel, saying he'd predict the result. He got it wrong. (Apparently.)
