A Fan of Comedy?

     I definitely am in all it's forms. I've been waiting all day to get a CD of a musician friend's material for a gig tomorrow night and ended up waiting, catching up on news, and reading. No CD was obtained, but the reading was good.

Jesus is in his apartment and he looks out and sees this sad old man sitting on the curb. He goes down and asks the old man what was wrong.

"I've lost my son." says the old man.

"Oh...well what do you do for a living?" asks Jesus.

"I'm a carpenter." says the old man.

Jesus is starting to have suspicions at this point, so he says, "Can you describe your son to me?"

The old man says, "He has holes in his hands and in his feet, and he once hung from a wooden cross."

Jesus takes the man's hands excitedly and says, "Father???"

And the man says, "Pinocchio???"

Funny--that joke is told in the RS issue mentioned. It's one of the comics "favorite jokes". Great joke. Funnier because the set up (there) is somewhat different too.
