Oh how I love Santa Cruz...

I just had the coolest experience...I went to the Long Marine Lab here in Santa Cruz and volunteered to help a Grad student with her research. She is trying to record when elephant seals eat and how often by measuring their stomach temperature. Anyways, the cool part is that I got to feed the elephant seal its yummy fish and cleaned up the pool

It sounds like your're having an awesome time in Santa Cruz. I'm really happy about the weather here, it's gotten sunny and everything is green and blooming. So, I just found out that a bunch of San Diego people have lj, so I'm trying to get back in touch with them. What are you doing for the summer?
