Famous Last Words

Here's the deal, I've been a huge MCR fan since I stumbled across them in 2004 and I love everything they've done up to this point. I have to say that their new album The Black Parade was a great step forward from Three Cheers which was a great step forward from Bullets which was a great album period. oooh! I felt the same way, too! I saw their video when it dropped a few weeks ago and was kinda like 'That's all... hm...' A part of me wanted to think about what I would've put in the music video, if I were to have the chance to direct it. Honestly, I couldn't really think of anything better. I mean, it's good song with a message, but it wasn't meant to tell a story. With a band like MCR, they had to get their message out and the easiest way to do that is to have it plastered all over MTV and FUSE. All of their previous songs that they made videos for specifically told a story.

On the other hand, I think that Famous Last Words is too important of a video just to be thrown to the offhand (it's one of the favorite videos on my iPod). There's devotion to the message and music that MCR really shows strongly (especially with Gerard and Bob). Although I found it extremely boring because it just shows them the entire time (not to say that I didn't mind watching them prance and play, and their costumes were awesome) it's a very important ( ... )

Yeah, I get that the message is really important but...I don't know. It was...I don't know, you know? Yeah. That made the kind of sense that would have been better if I'd said nothing. Holy shit, that made even less sense. *shrug* I liked the fire.
