But the thing is that Logan sleeping with Madison Sinclair is totally something Veronica couldn't get past, just like Max couldn't get past Wendy's checkered past. Which I guess is what this episode is about: lying is bad! Don't do it! It ruins relationships!

But I don't really think Logan lied about it. He put it out there that he slept with someone he regretted, and while he didn't mention the person by name, it was still admitting to it.

Of course, I'm not thinking so well right now, so that could all change when I've had more time to sleep.

I'm with you on the jokes with Kieth and Veronica, though. I just didn't get the point of those moments at all.

Aaah yes. At the time, I thought he was talking about the thing before.

I kept thinking about that, and the issue is not that he didn't fully disclose Madison's name.

The issue is that he left her completely vulnerable to what actually happened: Madison rubbing her nose in it.

That's what I wouldn't forgive. It wasn't cheating AND it's not like he has to give the name and address of every woman he's slept with when they're apart. BUT it's kind of obvious Madison does whatever she can to hurt Veronica, so I think he's kind of a shit to leave her vulnerable like that.

In unrelated news, I still don't like Yahoo!Messenger, but I got it. Are you minorr on that?

If only Studio 60 wasn't being so insanely slow to download - I'd have Heroes and it up, but instead I will do all 3 at once.

(Cruising over again, deliberately this time, since my f'list doesn't do meta anymore *tear*)

Breaking News! Mercer Hayes is The Flash! Able to speed from Mexico to Neptune, commit a rape, and speed back within ONE NIGHT!

Logan's answer to Veronica's (somewhat late!) question about this was so pathetic ("I guess I passed out?") that I'm inclined to think he lied about Mercer's alibi, probably from the beginning. I could definitely see that as being the thing Veronica can never get past. (It makes more sense than her being that angry about Logan sleeping with Madison while they were broken up, anyway.)

I really want to be be right about this. It's perfect! If Logan lied for Mercer, then fandom can't hate Veronica for breaking Logan's woobie heart, and I don't want to believe Rob Thomas & Co. would mess around with such great misdirection to no end. Unfortunately, I can't think how to justify Logan's self-incriminating story about catching the hotel on fire. Why lie and make himself look so bad? Probably I'm wrong. Dammit.

Yeah, I have no idea what to think about Mercer's alibi, except that it is continuing evidence that alibis don't mean SHIT on this show.

One thing that struck me was that Veronica was really nice and empathetic this episode. Hell, she was apologizing half the time. I liked her like that.
I loved her this episode. Even when she was thinking the worst of Wendy, she was still really worried about Max, and she was so compassionate toward him, especially at the end. I loved that.

I did not like her, however, making pelvic thrusts at her dad. You just...I don't care how close they are, that's just inappropriate! Kristen and Enrico were weirdly over-the-top in their scenes; it was like the episode stopped for them to have at it and then picked back up again.Oh, man. I don't know how their relationship has gone so wrong for me, but I'm so over their constant jokey-jokey over-the-top banter. It's like their incapable of having a normal conversation. They barely even talk about anything real other than the Dean's case. I'm really sad about this. I used to love their relationship, but now it's almost always like they're just two walking punch lines, or improv artists, or ( ... )

Seriously! I mean, I love the occasional bonding moment, but you're right, it's like it's all they do. That and sometimes mention the Dean's case.

They need to go back to the old school detective/dame sort of talk for their bonding scenes. This pseudo-sexual stuff is icky and I don't know why the writers don't see that. Didn't they ever have parents?

I swear Veronica is looking hotter and HOTTER in each new episode!

As far as Cheat!Guy having so much cash, I just figured that yeah, his cheating ring is that profitable. :/
