How the fuck to you write such thought out posts so soon after the episode? It would take me hours to write this post because I always have to re-watch before everthing is straight in my head. I hate you. And by hate I mean love, and am jealus of your skillz.
I liked it, I thought it was shiney and fun. But need to re-watch tommorrow.
(and did anyone do a double-take because they thought they heard him say, "...do the colored commentary"?) I certainly did.
and learned that the Fitzpatricks are involved in EVERYTHING. I swear, by the end of the season, we're going to find out that the Fitzpatricks killed Lilly Kane. I know. I was thrilled to have it confirmed that there was a connection, 'cause I KNEW there had to be one. But now it's just, I don't even want to come up theories because my head is spinning.
(You guys totally know the bathroom graffiti said fuckslutwhore.) I KNOW!!!! And I said as much in my lj. Yes, I wrote about VM in my lj.
and did anyone do a double-take because they thought they heard him say, "...do the colored commentary"? Yes. Although one of my (black) friends claims that she thinks when people say "African American," they're trying too hard. Just say "black." So I do.
Yeah, Logan, macking on the daughter of the guy who's fingering you for murder isn't so hot. Here's a question I'd pose to the whole VM world, but... instead, I'll just pose it to you. The guy looked over, and saw Logan, and... didn't react? I saw no reaction. Did you see a reaction? If he is the witness to Logan on the bridge, don't you think he's uh... know Logan?
"Standing while black" was a great lineYES! And um, love her random black friend, and the fact that they felt she needed one. Sigh
( ... )
I don't know; he seemed to...glower. I mean, it wasn't really blatant, and maybe he's one of them San Diego actors. Hee. And, I dunno. I think perhaps Logan's scheming, and proving stuff. Or something more coherent.
She's Cora from "Blast from the Past." ... still Tessa's token black friend.
No, she's Jackie's token friend. Jackie has no other friends, Black or otherwise ... I think it was to highlight the peril of interracial friendships at Neptune High (Sunil can school me on the episode title, but I'm thinking of the one where Anthony Anderson's daughter went missing - that character's only friend - once the 09-ers ditched her - was also Black).
