Also, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is genius. I need to own it. Doogie Howser doing blow off a hooker may be the most brilliant thing ever committed to film.

And I think "Just because you're hung like a moose doesn't mean you gotta do porn" may be the most brilliant line ever uttered in a stoner flick.

You are the second person I know to have endorsed Harold and Kumar. Would I still find it amusing if I think stoners are the lamest and most pathetic people ever?

Yes. The humor is way beyond just stoner humor. There's a lot of "random shit" humor as well. Plus, a great satire-except-not-so-much-satire-because-many-people-really-act-like-that on racial stereotyping in America. I'm not even close to being a stoner, and I still thought Harold and Kumar were entertaining characters. Besides, they do endeavor to become less lame and pathetic by the end. Kind of.

Also, I personally find it amusing that the character's name is Kumar Patel, which is equivalent to being named Smith Jones.

It is indeed fucking hilarious. I like that Harold and Kumar act like normal people stuck in a bizarre stoner movie. Also, they're damn cute.
