Ha, nope. Neither do I though. She rightfully guessed I'd be more into characters like Tuvok, B'Elanna, and Seven of Nine. And Janeway, obvs.

I was also not familiar with K-Dramas or K-pop (other than having a general sense of the definitions of the terms), but that didn't really hinder my enjoyment? I mean, it's not like, mind-blowing-omg-this-is-the-best ever, but I quite enjoyed it. It's funny, doesn't take itself too seriously. And the episodes are 15 minutes, so watching the whole season at once is effectively movie-length.
