Oh my God, why haven't I been posting? Because my world is a crotch, that's why.

Work. Work. Also, work. So much work. I was at work till after 7 the other night, and, honestly, if I weren't busy with other things, I would be staying late(r) all this week.

Aw man, and here I was hoping to hear your thoughts on Chuck's finale. Still, sounds like you're crazy busy (mostly in a good way) so it's all good!

Also, Adobe's pretty good about resetting registrations if you call them up. Before we went volume licensing on our systems, we used to have to reset Acrobat licenses a lot.

Oh, but I got this from a third-party vendor (not illegal, as far as I know). The code they gave me with the download didn't work, so they sent me three others, and I only used one, so I'm hoping one of the others will work.

I liked the Chuck finale; I'm glad they got to end the show on their own terms. It was sweet and nostalgic.

Please do the backup today. I can't tell you how many unhappy people I've helped through data recovery (and if we can get what they need off the backups, how happy they become... but I'm going to guess that a state-of-the-art tape robot is not attached to your laptop).

What makes this potential future wife promising? Does she *get* fannishness? Or just seem nice?

I don't know if she's fannish, but she loves Whedon shows and Sherlock and is excited about other shows I love. Also, she found me funny. I haven't heard back from her, though, so who knows.

I hear you. At this point my life feels like it's in count down mode. I have a massively long to-do list and four-ish weeks to get it all done. Assuming, of course, that the baby doesn't make an early entrance.
