Emperor of All Maladies sounds very interesting! Your comparison with The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks makes me add it to me book list since I enjoyed that book last year.

You couldn't print "cancer" or "breast," so good luck trying to write something about breast cancer.

Five minutes into the pilot, I got queasy and had to turn it off.
Like most people. But it got better, and then it got much better. It's progressed from meh to okay to decent to genuinely good. There are only a few episodes left in the season, though.
