Comic-Con 2010, Day 2: Polter-Cow vs. Comic-Con

Thursday morning, I wake around 6:30 but don't crawl out of bed until 7:30. I try not to wake anyone as I shower and sneak out for breakfast. I check out the nearby Broken Yolk, but it looks too expensive to eat at alone. So I walk to the Cheese Shop, recommended to me by Cat, who grew up in San Diego. I can't believe how often somebody hands you The Special Pin or its equivalent, or that you get called on to shave a chest.

Is this a Jedi mind trick or do you simply have a secret signal indicating your willingness to shave a celebrity's chest?

I can't believe how often somebody hands you The Special Pin or its equivalent, or that you get called on to shave a chest.
Me neither, really. I feel like I should get used to it, but I'm still surprised. Or I'm disappointed when Lady Luck does NOT shine upon me. Which happens often as well; it's just that the winners are so memorable that they stand out.

I must radiate some sort of Geek Aura. It could be Old Spice.
