It had been over a year since I'd gone up north to visit Sophia (sophia_helix), Alex (actoplasm), Ariel (lodessa), and Tris (sainfoin_fields), so I was excited! We had plans and everything. Okay, the plans were mostly to play lots of games and see Toy Story 3. Time for gerunds!

Red November is a cooperative game in which you play drunken gnomes on a nuclear submarine. Everything is going wrong, and you're just trying to survive until rescue arrives. Fires break out, rooms get flooded, you may drink too much and pass out. You could all asphyxiate and die, the engine could malfunction and crush you all, the reactor could explode and kill you all, the missiles could launch and kill everyone, the Kraken could attack and devour you all...

There are many ways to lose, but only one way to win.

That fucking Witch! I recently played with her in a two-person game, and once he bought one, I pretty much had to buy one too, and we just hurled Curses at each other until they were all gone. The only defense was the same offense!

But, yeah, I love Dominion. I was in Dominion withdrawal for months, so playing five games in one weekend was great.
