But that was only the teaser. What follows is the epic tale of one geek who survived five days of awesome and then killed his fingers to tell you about it.

If I forget something or get something wrong, I'm sorry. Let's get this party started.

Oh, yeah. You didn't know that Cal Sci in Numb3rs is totally Cal Tech without even really bothering to file off the serial numbers?

Also... there are much better places for Mexican food in Pasadena than Rubio's, though Rubio's is a good chain if you had to pick a chain.

Oh, I know there are better places for Mexican food. But we were looking for something convenient and quick. It was in the right area.

Damn, you got a lot done on Preview Night. And, ha! That's how you knew the pizza was good at Basic! (Our fave restuarant in San Diego during Comic Con really.) Maybe Felicia also recognizes my name from Facebook? Because I've never met her in person. Though I came close this year when she came into the Dollhouse press room.

I don't remember mentioning that to you! When did I do that?

Maybe? Then she might have been thinking of a Ray or Rey, though.

Though I came close this year when she came into the Dollhouse press room.
I didn't know you got into the Dollhouse press room!!

You called while Amrie and I were there having dinner. It was a brief convo so I'm not surprised you don't remember.

I didn't know you got into the Dollhouse press room!!
Technically, I didn't. I just stayed in that room after the Big Bang Theory and it was such a clusterf*ck that the Fox people didn't even try checking people off a list. I wish I had just stayed in B20 instead. I would have enjoyed the panel more. I did, however, get to see the entire Whedon clan plus Felicia as they came into the room near the end so that they could get into B20 with the group.

Aha! I didn't see it on your schedule. Amrie got in, though, I think?

More than being in the press room and talking to Joss? I am confused about the sequence of events! You snuck into the press room but didn't actually get to participate, is that it? Because I'd think you'd be excited to talk to Joss press room-style!

Acceptance of Plans Going Awry. This is a VERY GOOD WAY TO BE at Comic-Con.

This could not be more true!! Maybe they should engrave it on all the badges and every attendee's forearm or something.

Glad you posted all these links! For lo, I had forgotten most of the stuff you had pimped to me. I should have been taking notes!

mayonaise in Mexican food? Now I feel all pampered by Californian Mexican food, at least we didn't have that.

What is "Botticelli?"

oh hey I'm up to Season 2 Episode 5 of The Guild!
lol I don't know if I'd be able to speak to Felicia Day...just nod and smile and say "yeah."

Gabe and Tycho!

Surf Vader! and my brother plays Assassin's Creed. The costumes in that game (and the sequel) look cool.

OH MY GOSH MASTER CHIEF IS RIDING IN STYLE.

Butts in:

I have no proof there is actual mayo in the "Mexican" food here, but it does appear that way.

I was just telling someone else about your mayo-in-Mexican-food experience. I am spreading falsities!
