Spellingg Bee and Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast are both Psych classics. Shawn vs. the Red Phantom is also great for all the reasons already mentioned upstream but also because... the introduction of MAGIC HEAD! Watch it and you'll understand what they were talking about at Comic Con ( ... )

Clearly!! They are very popular. And the latter is directed by John Landis! Nice.

I don't know what you're talking about because I MISSED THE PANEL.

That said, the cast and crew all love American Duos. It is always cited as one of the episodes they enjoyed filming and it is pretty freaking great.
Oh, cool. I imagine the premieres and finales are pretty important.

65 Million Years Off is one of my absolute faves and the events of that episode have come up in other episodes.
Ooh. The concept sure sounds amusing. It is a contender for the Fourth.

OH! And Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead is another of my faves but you do have to watch 65 Million Years Off first because it has a great callback to that episode.
Oh! Thanks for the tip.

And, finally, Christmas ( ... )

Oh, crap. I was confusing the Chuck and Psych panels. Though you can now watch it online so maybe you had done that and were confused! ;) Still, it's a good episode even without you needing to have that explained.

I am more drawn to "65 Million Years Off," though, because there may be dinosaurs involved. Are there dinosaurs involved?

There is a dinosaur involved. Two even.

AWESOME. I think we have a winner.

(Where can I watch the panel online? Do you just mean YouTube links or is there a prettier version available?)

I've been meaning to check that show out at some point. Let us know how you like it!

Oh, I love it! I always enjoy it when I watch it, and I've seen almost a season's worth of episodes. I definitely recommend it. It's fun and whimsical, but the mysteries are still cleverly constructed.

Nice! I will add it to my must-see list.

Would you suggest definitely starting from season one, or can you jump in anywhere?

(I've started watching Entourage this season, btw. I had tried it a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed, but I'm liking it better now. Just the current season, though.)

Well, I have just jumped in anywhere, and I'm fine. I don't think it's essential to start from the beginning, but it's always preferable because there are callbacks and such. It's a procedural, though, so it's not like there are long, ongoing plot arcs. Just character/relationship arcs that develop very slowly.

I'm most familiar with the third season, so I recommend it; I think it was pretty strong.

I'm glad you're enjoying Entourage now! It's been pretty good this season, I think. It's fun stuff.

Psych is a fun show, but I have a hard time recalling which individual episodes are which.

"American Duos" has Tim Curry in it, and "65 Million Years Off" has a dinosaur.

Sorry, can't be much more help than that.

Ooh, Tim Curry.

But I think the dinosaur's taking it.

You know, as an alternative to picking and choosing a handful of episodes, we now have the technology to rent entire seasons of television shows on DVD. ;-)

If I had to pick a top five I think they would be: Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead, American Duos, Scary Sherry, Spellingg Bee, and 65 Million Years off.

Oh, I forgot Lights, Camera... Homicido! That one is DEFINITELY top five; I just can't figure out what to take out to make room for it. THIS IS TOO HARD.

Oh, definitely! I love it. The name of the poll is one of my favorite moments from the show. Cracked my shit up good.

My top five would be mostly third-season episodes, though, since that's what I've seen! Like "Tuesday the 17th" and "An Evening with Mr. Yang." And "Gus Walks into a Bank" was really good too.

Oooh! Oooh! I would recommend this one as well! Shawn as a Spanish novella star was hilarious.

I love Tim Curry too, but "65 Million Years Off" has DINOSAURS.

DINOSAURS.
