That sounds like a really cool place! I hope that someone buys it and re-opens it or gives the current owner the capital he needs to keep it open. Any famous non-sports celebs from Oakland?

The one in El Cerrito is still open, but that's not in Oakland! I've only been there once. I guess I will have to go there more often now.

Man, they're closing the Parkway? That sucks. Now that I've left the Bay Area, I feel that I didn't fully appreciate all its offerings before.
