Stop Promoting Me Pastries

Today, I headed into the city to check out the mobile Pie Hole for the Pushing Daisies Touch of Wonder Tour. And I intended to post about it, but I realized I never wrote about my trip to the Kwik-E-Mart last year! You may remember that, to promote The Simpsons Movie, a dozen 7-11s across the country were converted into Kwik-E-Marts. Luckily, one ( Read more... )

That Kwik-E-Mart set-up looks like fun. The Pushing Daisies one less so, but thank you for linking to the season 2 trailer so I could watch it again and get re-excited. This might be the show premiere I'm most looking forward to this year!

I did not fall as in love with the show as I wanted to (instead, I fell for Chuck, whose pilot did not impress me that much), but that trailer sure does pique my interest. Bring it on, Fuller, you whimsical bitch.

I'm really looking forward to the premiere of The Sarah Connor Chronicles tomorrow, though!!

Awww, I like the pie server! I need to bribe someone to go check it out and get me one somewhere along the way.

Also, love the pictures at the Kwik-E-Mart with you guys doing the same poses as the characters. Heh.

I like the pie server too! She was really cute!

I am completely distracted by the fact that you get a chocolate festival. We get a CrabFest and a sardine festival!

Heh. I do need a pie/cake cutter if I'm going to keep baking pies at the rate I'm going. Guess I'll wait until they come to the east coast to get one.

I also recommended Dead Like Me.

I love that show. I have both seasons on DVD and I'm still a sad panda that they cancelled it.

They're supposed to be making a DVD movie for it. It was scheduled to be released like...this past summer. And then they pushed it back again. But rumor has it, that if the movie does well enough, they'll bring the series back. So be on the lookout for the movie to support it!

The other sucky parts are that Daisy is played by some other actress, and that they have a new boss....which is laaaame. But I'll still watch it.
