Hah, as soon as you mentioned the back alley and the donut shop I knew exactly where you were!

And funny-- you were within 300 yards of me, because I was shopping at Trader Joe's last night at 8:30! I would have told you to go to Spettro, because the food there is great and so is the decor. It's not cheap, but it's way more reasonable than other restaurants with food of the same caliber.
