GIMP has been wonky with my tablet when switching between brush tools quickly, so I installed Krita. Surprisingly, it's very easy to learn the basics of it. This were done mainly using the speed-paint brush which is amazing!
Edited in GIMP with Topaz Clean effects
I colored a simple castle from Tim's Printables just in case mermaids didn't fill the prompt (and because Krita is fun).
