I had to write you a fic. I wanted to do one of your prompts that you posted a while ago but for some reason, everything I wrote was crap, and then I got this haircut idea from an D&J episode where Josh cuts his own hair during the very beginning of the show. And this was born. lol.

You are the sweetest person ever, and I hope you have a wonderful birthday. You deserve it. :D

I think that was one of the first sections I wrote. I tend to go all over the place when writing fic, and that section poured out of me. You're right. I think Drake wouldn't pay that much attention to closeness unless it was with Josh. I'm really happy you thought so. ♥

I hadn't intended on the Josh is Done echo, but you saying that makes me grin. I tried to think of how Drake would see it. His brain is all confused because of these images being thrown back and forth, and then I thought about ping-pong, and that was perfect.

This scene was ingrained in my head. The thought of Megan just slamming the door open, demanding Drake shut-up after his loud, uh, exclamation of Josh's name, just cracked me up. She rules at life.

Yeah. I actually got the idea from a D&J episode, before the opening, when they talk into the screen. I can't remember the title, but Josh is sitting in the kitchen, cutting his own hair, as he talks about this chubby girl from when he was younger that only dated him for his cupcakes. I figured Josh always cuts his own hair after that.

I'm happy you like the banter there. I was thinking that maybe it was unnecessary but the image just made me laugh, so I thought, why not? I like it, let it stay there.

I love it when Josh gets sassy. Sassy!Josh is hysterical. Definitely. Joshie, you are so transparent. You're just upset that Drake wasn't able to feed you corndogs, and you're all bent out of shape about it.The actual phrase always makes me laugh, so when I thought about how Drake would word it for this situation. I cracked up

oh, I love first-time stories, and the haircut is wonderful. I could see Josh being good at that and taking great pride in it, and could DEFINITELY see Drake spending all his haircut money on corn dogs. ♥
