Oh you... you don't have to throw me any party, Rene...

And... you're teaching at Rose now?

Of course I do! It would be more fun, wouldn't you say? [and he may or may not have wanted an excuse to throw a party at the house.]

I am! I'm not exactly full time, but I'll be there on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at around 2:30 to help with the drama class.

[Watching him, it certainly seems like he'd be good at teaching drama. It's very easy to keep her focus on him, and he even makes her smile, in light of this new and strange world she's found herself in. She doesn't totally know what he's talking about here, but--

Consider her curious. The idea of a school festival sounds almost...fun. And familiar.]

A test of courage...

[...]

Wh-what will the course be like? Are you allowed to say...?

[oh ho, a new face~ he just seems to glow with that natural charm of his.]

I can't tell you everything, but I can say that it will be something like a cross between a maze and a haunted house. It will be in one of the school buildings with parts of the floors blocked off so you can only go in certain areas, but there will be "traps" and volunteers out to scare those who dare enter~

[She notices. Haha, it's the only thing keeping her from being a nervous wreck, at the moment.]

That sounds pretty scary...! But, then again, i-it'll be pretty close to Halloween, so...I guess that's appropriate.

[After a moment of consideration, she smiles.]

I suppose the reward is a secret as well?

[...he would've said what it was on the feed, if he could...right?]

It is, but I can assure you that it will be worth it! Of course those who don't finish won't leave empty handed either.

[probably get some cheap coupon to something. like free pack of ramen.]

But it'll be fun! I hope you at least stop by to take a look. And you can come with a friend so it won't be as scary.

New drama teacher? Congratulations, Tamaki!

[She is curious, though.]

What's a Host Club?

Thank you, Miss Nunnally~! I'm so excited, I can't wait to start next week!

My version of the host club is a bit different than what most think of it. There is a group of hosts, and here hostesses, who use their natural talents and charm to socialize with their clients. The purpose is to let the clients forget about their current worries and just enjoy themselves, to have them leave happy with a smile.

I'm sure you are - it sounds very exciting.

That sounds like a nice place to go. Did you have something like that at home?

[Since he seemed to know what he was talking about...]

I did! In fact I formed it back in my high school and that's how I met all my closest friends, including Haruhi. [there's a fond little smile there as he recalls those memories.]

We've had something like it here in Somarium, but I think it could use a fresh start.

[ah, another new young maiden~ is he sparkling? he may be sparkling. or could be your imagination.]

The Host Club is comprised of individuals who have not only the good looks but also the charm that naturally attract others to them. With these talents, and with a little harmless flirting, the host or hostess socializes with his or her client and tries to keep them entertained and happy. We want them to forget whatever may be troubling them and leave with a smile on their face. We also hold various activities and events to further enrich the experience.

[S-sparkly! Tsubomi's going to be floored by his good looks for a moment before nodding.]

A-ah well, I wouldn't be too good with that kind of thing but um, maybe I can visit once in a while? It sounds... very very interesting.

We-no, I would be more than happy to have you visit us, fair maiden~! I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

[Lloyd's interest is caught at the mention of plays - but the teacher part still makes him a little cautious.]

Can other people give ideas for plays, too? And do we have to go to school?

I am more than happy to take in any ideas that anyone might have. As for going to school...well I'd have to ask Lady Serenity about the details, but I personally feel that anyone should be able to partake in the activities, in the school or not.

[That makes him feel marginally more enthusiastic about the idea of joining this class. He doesn't want to go back to school, especially now that he's eighteen, but drama sounds like it could be fun.]

When does everyone meet? And when can you talk to the Professor?

I can call her later this afternoon. As for classes, it's every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon.
