Okay, landofart is hosting a "Riddle Tutorial Me This" challenge. The task is to create / write up tutorials set at different levels - meaning 3 newbie, 3 intermediate and 3 experts tutorials. I really doubt, that I'll be able to do anything at an expert level, but I think I could give it a try

Well, I'd love a tut on either/or -- how you cut the bgs off the pics you add a texture as the bg

and/or

how you make textures :) I mean, I can make "mask" textures (if you know what those are) but not reg ones :)

Ah, sorry for the late reply. Hm, hm, I think I'll do both - cutting the background and creating simple textures.
