I do not believe that there is another show like it on television today. - You're completely right. There is nothing like it.

I think you just summed up absolutely every reason why I love this show. I still can't believe they cancelled it *pouts*.

It was an absolutely brilliant show, and the ending was just, ... WOW.

There's so few truly good shows out there (and little to no fantasy), and I really think someone dropped the ball by letting this one go.

Indeed. I was totally fearing another 'The Lost World' type endings, where everything poofs into nothingness and is never heard from again.

That paragraph that you quoted is probably one of the closest to my heart. The depth of these characters is what's touched me. Kahlan, in particular. Her pain and her suffering and yet, look at her kindness, her generosity, her love.

...but having it go out so strong seems to be fitting, and I think I can live with that.

You know, I agree with you there. It is fitting for LOTS to go out strong. I never had a doubt, really, that they'd deliver something that would blow our minds. And it did. I am truely honored to have been a fan of this show, as it aired. Knowing that we're doing everything in our power, right now, to save it. If we manage it, we'll have that pride to carry. If we don't, we'll have the knowledge that we did everything we could. And I'm at peace with that.
