I love the comparisons you make between Earth and Atlantis, and Atlantis is so quiet, so silent, and it's not easy to settle there.
I love the little things you mention like the floor, the no straighteners (and I'm damn glad she didn't think to bring them), or the all walking barefoot. I love that John came to see Elizabeth because he couldn't sleep. And that she couldn't sleep either. I love that he took her hand, just like that, for no reason. I love that once more, they found themselves outside, that after the balcony, they found this place.
I love that Elizabeth is thinking about Simon, and how she felt it was time to let go. And I love the comparisons she makes between holding Simon's hand and John's hand. As if it felt natural to hold John's hand.
I love the whole feeling in this fic. It was like Atlantis itself, calm, perfect. This fic is definitely one of my favourite of yours.
