An Interesting Day....

Well, the shower went well. I let the other two ladies duke it out over decorating(they both like to be in charge and one is pretty bossy). I just made the chicken salad croissant sandwiches and the punch, and pretty much stayed in the kitchen during that part. My punch was a hit! Which made me very happy, because I made up the recipe from

*pouts* I want a snow day, too. ;) I just can't believe you're still getting snow! It's April, fcol. I'm glad the shower went well and the punch was a hit. Care to share the recipe?

We didn't get the snow day! :( Things warmed up several degrees over night. I'm leaving for work in a couple of minutes. We just couldn't catch break with the snow days this year. One of the snowiest years on record, it just all came on the weekends and Christmas vacation.

As for the punch.....1 large bottle of white grape juice, 1 2-liter of 7-Up, and 1/3 of a 2 liter of Ginger Ale. I think people liked it because it's not too sweet. Oh, and I also froze a container of juice and 7-Up for the ice. If you try it, Drea, me know what you think.
