Ugh, trying to quit coffee is so hard. It's not even the physical withdraws. I'm past that. It's the mental addiction. I want a cup of coffee so bad. :(
I can empathize only in the sense that I have coffee cravings a lot, but I am not kicking the habit, so I can satisfy them. It is miserable when I'm prevented from having it when I want it, though.
Anyway, I hope the mental cravings go away for you soon, hon.
Thanks so much. I have to give it up along with a ton of other stuff I love because I've developed acid reflex really bad and get horrible stomach aches. :(
Oh, no! That stinks! I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you're able to find acceptable substitutes for the things you miss. As someone who went vegan (from ovo-lacto vegetarian) back in March, I can empathize with you on this front, too. I really, really, really miss cheese pizza (real cheese; vegan cheese is mostly awful, though I have found one decent brand for making my own pizza), for example. I miss Greek food (mmmm, feta) and a lot of other things too. I'm not going to give up veganism (for health reasons), but boy, I am sometimes SO tempted to just order a grilled cheese sandwich! :-)
